Charity Round-Up 

Being a part of the community is really important to us at Robert Watts. Over the past few months, we’ve had the pleasure of supporting various community initiatives, from youth team sponsorships to charity events. Here are just a few of the highlights from our recent activities. 

Eliza’s Picnic 

At the beginning of the summer, we were thrilled to once again sponsor Eliza’s Picnic. In aid of CCAA Kids With Arthritis and Leeds Children’s Hospital, the event hosted in West End Park was a brilliant day out for all of the family and included entertainment, music, food stalls and games. A total of £3,165 was donated during the event which was divided equally between the two amazing charities. 

Thackley Typhoons 

We are delighted to be sponsoring the Thackley Typhoons U18s for their upcoming season. The all-female team are due to begin their competitive fixtures in September and we can’t wait to cheer them on over the course of the season. We are especially proud to be sponsoring the team this season as Georgia, daughter of our Sales Negotiator Clare, will be playing for them over 2024/25. 

Cleckheaton Golf Club 

On Friday 6th September, our Managing Director James was at Cleckheaton Golf Club to support the Tee Sponsors Day. It was a fantastic event with glorious weather, great company from other local businesses and a brilliant round of golf.

Robert Watts has been a proud sponsor at the golf club since 2021 and we are delighted to be continuing our sponsorship again this year.
