Summer has officially begun, so while the sun is shining and the children are off school, why not make the most of some of the fantastic events and attractions across West Yorkshire? Keep reading to learn more about some of the best days out we could find for less than £10 per person.
Breeze Leeds
Throughout July and August Breeze Leeds is celebrating 20 years of hosting unforgettable days out for the kids with interactive play systems and arts and crafts activities. With 26 days of Breeze In The Park fun across various locations, there is bound to be a day perfect for the family to enjoy relaxing in the sun and letting their children socialise for just 50p per child and two adults per ticket.
Bolling Hall
You can also enjoy an educational day out at Bolling Hall Museum in Bradford as you tour five-hundred-year-old structures with parts of the building dating all the way back to medieval times. All for free, this is a great way to spend quality time with your family while enjoying a stroll around the fascinating heritage of Bradford.
Swithens Farm
This summer you can also get your hands dirty at Swithens Farm with a range of animals to watch and interact with from your standard British farm animals to alpacas and meerkats. For just under £10 per adult, you and the children can all enjoy a day full of outdoor furry fun as well as some tasty food from the Farmhouse Café.
Jurassic Jungle Trail
Travel back in time with the Discover Ilkley app for a fascinating augmented reality trail where the children can discover interactive characters and ancient fossils on their very own dino adventure. The app is free to download and is the perfect way to keep the children entertained while travelling around the town centre.
