We are so proud of the history of Robert Watts Estate Agents, but it is true what they say – life really does begin at 40. From expanding into block management to investing in innovative technology, we are looking ahead to the future and cannot wait to see what the next 40 years has in store! 

Nevertheless, to celebrate how far we have come, we have compiled our highlights from over the last 40 years.

1980

Open Robert Watts Estate Agents

1984

Open second office at Highfield Road, which was initially run by our aunt, Jean Mirfin and is still open today

1993

Open Birkenshaw branch

1994

John Watts starts working for the firm and trains as a Valuer

1995

Robert Watts Property Management formed by James Watts, who starts working for the business

1996

Kate Watts joins the firm and works as a Sales Negotiator

1997

Acquire Parkin Westbury Estate Agents in Wibsey and open a branch there

1998

Kate Watts took over the Property Management department

2002

Acquire Inghams Estate Agents in Cleckheaton and open a branch there

2004

Merge Cleckheaton branch with Cadmans Estate Agency

2007

Watts Cadmans Estate Agents is rebranded as full Robert Watts office in Cleckheaton

2007

Acquire Wrights Estate Agents in Cleckheaton and Kate Watts develops Robert Watts Property Management

2010

Join Relocation Agency Network (RAN)

2016

Robert Watts Property Management win two ESTAS awards

2017

Join Land & New Homes Network

2019

Voted within top 3% of agents at Estate Agency Masters awards
